Thank you for choosing to visit Castle Christmas. By clicking “Confirm Booking & Pay” and purchasing tickets for Castle Christmas, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
General Admission
Castle Christmas is fully wheelchair accessible. Some areas may require alternative routes (such as lifts) and our staff are always available to assist guests requiring accessible paths.
Castle Christmas is a family focused Christmas experience created for children. Bookings consisting solely of adult groups are not permitted and may be refused entry. At least one child must be included in each booking, except where an adult is accompanying another adult who has specific needs or learning difficulties. Castle Christmas reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel bookings that do not meet this requirement.
All attendees including babies under 13 months require a valid ticket as they occupy a designated space within the experience.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times. Castle Christmas accepts no responsibility for injury or loss sustained by unsupervised children.
Ticket Types & Entry
Tickets are sold on the following basis:
- Baby – Up to 13 months
- Child – 13 months to 12 years
- Adults/Carer – 12 years and over
All prices are quoted in Euro.
Tickets are valid only for the specific date and time selected at purchase, unless written consent is provided by Castle Christmas.
Carer’s Ticket Discounts
Castle Christmas offers a discount on Adult tickets for carers.
Guests who are members of Family Carers Ireland and hold a valid membership card must contact Family Carers Ireland directly to obtain a discount code prior to booking.
Guests who hold a valid carer card issued by another registered carers organisation in Ireland may request a discount code by emailing info@castlechristmas.com with a photograph of their valid, in-date carer card. Once verified, a discount code will be issued for use when booking tickets online.
Carer discount codes must be obtained prior to completing your booking. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively once a booking has been completed.
Guests using a Carer Discount must bring their valid carer card with them on the day of their visit. Castle Christmas reserves the right to request proof of eligibility upon arrival.
A maximum of one carer discount may be applied per child requiring a carer who is attending Castle Christmas.
Please note that Free Travel Passes, Blue Badges, or medical diagnosis letters are not accepted as proof of carer status.
Castle Christmas reserves the right to refuse or remove the discount where valid proof of eligibility cannot be provided.
Arrival Times
Guests must arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled entry time. Early or late arrivals will only be accommodated where operationally possible and are not guaranteed. Late arrivals may result in partial or full loss of the experience and refunds will not be issued in these circumstances. Entry outside your allocated time slot is strictly at the discretion of Castle Christmas management and subject to capacity.
Ticket Scanning & Entry Requirements
A valid ticket must be presented either physically or digitally for entry. We will not accept booking reference numbers, second names, screenshots without a valid scannable ticket, or verbal confirmations in place of the original ticket.
If a ticket has already been scanned, re-entry will not be permitted unless authorised.
If you lose your ticket, entry cannot be granted without a valid scannable ticket.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain or used in promotions or competitions without prior written consent from Castle Christmas.
Cancellations & Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable unless:
- Optional Cancellation Insurance was purchased at the time of booking, or
- A refund is required under applicable consumer protection legislation.
If you are unable to attend for any reason (including illness, weather, or personal circumstances), you must notify us before your scheduled entry time to be eligible for a credit voucher.
Vouchers will be issued less any non-refundable fees, including:
- Booking fees
- Cancellation insurance fees
- Personalised invitation packages
All Credit Vouchers issued on or after 1st July 2025 retain their full value (subject to applicable deductions outlined above) for 12 months from date of issue.
Bookings made using a credit voucher from a previous non-refundable booking remain non-refundable. We offer like-for-like refunds:
- Card payments are refunded back to the card.
- Voucher payments are refunded as vouchers.
- Bookings paid with a combination of card and voucher are refunded in the same combination.
Optional Cancellation Insurance
Optional Cancellation Insurance is available at an additional charge per booking.
Cancellation Insurance must be taken out at the time of initial purchase to be valid. Policies added after booking confirmation will not be valid.
If purchased:
- You may cancel up to 48 hours before your visit and receive a refund of payments made, less booking fees, cancellation insurance and add-ons.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of your visit will receive a credit voucher instead.
Cancellation Insurance is non-refundable.
Please note if you have used a credit voucher to purchase Castle Christmas tickets, adding on optional cancellation insurance will not provide you with a cash refund for your booking.
Experience & Attractions
The timing and sequence of activities are at the sole discretion of Castle Christmas management.
We reserve the right to remove or make unavailable any attraction if required for health and safety reasons.
Castle Christmas reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events. If Castle Christmas cancels, guests will be offered a refund or the option to reschedule.
We accept no liability for travel, accommodation, hospitality costs, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, emotional distress, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Castle Christmas is a live theatrical and interactive experience involving performers and characters. Interaction levels, dialogue, and performance styles may vary depending on group dynamics, performer interpretation, and operational flow. While we aim to provide a magical and engaging experience for all guests, individual interactions cannot be guaranteed.
Castle Christmas operates a one-way journey through the experience, with timings for each area to help guide the flow of guests. Guests will be required to move between areas at the direction of staff to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the event. The amount of time spent in each room or activity area may vary and is ultimately at the discretion of Castle Christmas management. Guests may not be able to return to previous areas once they have progressed through the experience.
The duration of the Castle Christmas experience may vary depending on operational requirements, guest numbers, and group flow. Any published durations are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Santa Personalisation (“Santa Secrets”)
Parents/guardians may provide personalised information for inclusion during the Santa visit.
While we make every effort to incorporate this information:
- We cannot guarantee its delivery or exclusive application
- It is an optional enhancement and not a core part of the experience
Castle Christmas accepts no liability for disappointment arising from omission, inaccuracy, or misattribution.
All personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Venue Rules
- No outside food or beverages permitted
- No alcohol may be brought onsite
- No smoking or vaping
- No pets (except certified service animals)
- CCTV operates throughout the venue
Castle Christmas reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual whose behaviour poses a risk to safety or impacts the enjoyment of other guests.
Castle Christmas is not responsible for the behaviour, actions, or conduct of other guests.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, we cannot be held liable for unreasonable, inappropriate, disruptive, or offensive behaviour by other attendees where such behaviour is outside of our reasonable control.
Guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner at all times. Castle Christmas reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any person whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or likely to significantly impact the enjoyment of others, without refund, including towards our staff.
Castle Christmas accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Lost property enquiries may be submitted via our website following your visit. Unclaimed items may be disposed of after 30 days.
Photography & Media
Photography is permitted for non-commercial use only.
Professional photography is available at an additional cost.
Castle Christmas is not responsible for images taken by other guests.
Castle Christmas may take photographs or video recordings within the venue for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending the event, guests acknowledge that such recording may occur. Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify staff upon arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Weather & Force Majeure
In the event of a Red Weather Warning issued by Met Éireann that affects Limerick during Castle Christmas operating hours:
- If Castle Christmas cancels, guests will receive a refund or reschedule option.
- If Castle Christmas remains open and a guest cannot attend, a voucher will be issued provided notice is given before entry time.
We cannot be liable for closures or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Discounts
All discounts must be applied at the time of booking. Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively under any circumstances.
