Your Consumer Rights
We want booking Castle Christmas to be simple, and anything that goes wrong to be easy to sort out. This page sets out what you can expect from us and what to do if something is not right.
What you can expect from us
When you book with us you are buying a service, and as a consumer you have rights under Irish and EU law. Nothing on this page or in our Terms & Conditions affects those rights.
The rest of this page explains, in plain English, how we handle prices, changes, cancellations and complaints.
Clear prices, before you pay
Every price on this website and on our booking pages is the price you pay, in euro, including VAT where it applies.
Booking fees, optional cancellation insurance and any add-ons are shown separately and totalled before you confirm, so there is nothing to be charged that you have not already seen.
Once you have booked, your confirmation and tickets arrive by email.
Changing your mind after you book
Tickets for an event on a set date work differently from most things bought online. The 14-day right to change your mind does not apply to leisure services booked for a particular date or time — the same is true of concert, theatre and sports tickets. We hold a place for your family in a timed session, and it cannot easily be filled at short notice.
What we offer instead is set out in our Terms & Conditions: optional cancellation insurance at the time of booking, and a credit voucher valid for 12 months if you let us know before your entry time that you cannot come.
If we cancel or change your visit
If we cancel your session, or move it to a date or time that does not suit you, you can choose either a refund or a place at another session.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used, and we make them promptly once the refund is agreed.
If something is not right on the day
Please tell a member of staff while you are still with us. Most things can be put right on the spot, and we would far rather fix it there and then than hear about it afterwards.
If that is not possible, email us afterwards with your booking reference and we will look into it.
Buying from anyone other than us
The only official place to buy Castle Christmas tickets is through the booking links on this website. Tickets bought from a reseller, a social media seller or a ticket exchange may be invalid, already scanned, or simply fake, and we cannot admit you on them.
Our Terms & Conditions do not allow our tickets to be resold for commercial gain, or used in promotions or competitions, without our written consent.
If someone else has sold you a ticket, please tell us anyway — it helps us shut them down.
Accessibility
Castle Christmas is fully wheelchair accessible and our staff will help with alternative routes where they are needed. If an access requirement affects whether the experience will work for your family, email us at info@castlechristmas.com before you book and we will tell you honestly what to expect.
If you need to complain
Email info@castlechristmas.com with your booking reference and what happened, and we will come back to you as quickly as we can.
If you are not happy with our answer, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie) gives free advice to consumers about their rights.
Governing law
Your booking is governed by the law of Ireland and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
